Development Agency Seed Corn Capital
The East & West Midlands Early Growth Fund addresses the "equity gap" which restricts young businesses from accessing growth funding, and concentrates on the lower levels of the equity gap. It applies to businesses seeking between £20,000 and £200,000 of finance. Whilst this is not strictly a grant, the application parameters are very similar. Our consultant recently received confirmation under the above scheme for the launch of a nationwide online insurance company based in The East Midlands.
