Ex-FSA chief stressed out of Barclays

Barclays has announced the resignation of its head of compliance and government and regulatory relations, Sir Hector Sants.

The one-time FSA chief executive has been on sick leave since the beginning of October, suffering from stress and exhaustion.

Sir Hector leaves the bank alongside Shaygan Kheradpir, chief operations and technology officer, who is departing to take on a role as CEO for a company based in the US.
